Project Management

In 2010 and 2011 I planned and managed the annual Awards Luncheon, sponsored by the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society for more than 200 attendees.

In 2010 and 2011 I managed all text details for the biannual brochure produced by San Francisco City Guides to list and describe the organization's free walking tours.

During 2009 I coordinated the "Off Call" section of the bimonthly Medical Journal of Northern California. I helped determine subjects to cover, then wrote or found writers for pieces that appeared in this section.

I managed all details to produce marketing materials for Golden Gate University School of Law for eight years and alumni publications for Hastings College of the Law for more than two years. This work included:

  • Writing
  • Editing
  • Researching
  • Supervising graphic designers, photographers, and proofreaders
  • Providing layout and production services
  • Overseeing printing and distribution

Writing

  • Magazine articles and special columns
  • Marketing brochures
  • Catalogs
  • Profiles
  • Historical articles
  • Historical books

Editing

More than 15 years of experience copyediting and proofreading work written by professional and nonprofessional writers.

Pro Bono Work

I edit, lay out, and prepare for printing the quarterly newsletters for the Western Neighborhoods Project and San Francisco History Association.

I provided proofreading and layout services for two booklets published by the Sunset Architecture and Historical Resources Inventory, a committee of San Francisco’s Sunset-Parkside Education and Action Committee (SPEAK).
